Wow. What a whirlwind the last ten days have been. Everything got done thanks to a lot of hard work and the incredible people that I call friends. We're staying at a very nice hotel by LAX, soaking up the last few hours before we jump on the 6 a.m. airport shuttle and begin 24 straight hours of travel, ending up in our new home in Macau.
Today our friends threw a huge going away party at a local park, and nearly 100 friends and family members came to see us off. There will be photos and more later, but right now my eyes are crossing with weariness and we still have to repack the carry-ons to make sure we get out the liquids and such. Good times.
So this is goodbye for now, see you again from the other side of the world!
