Parent Teacher Conference
This week and next are parent/teacher conference appointments. Our elementary school is piloting the new standards based report cards, which more accurately align with what the glorious state of California would like our children to learn. The new report cards are incredibly detailed and the school held a training session for the parents to learn how to read them (which I did not attend). Today I met with Benjamin's teacher. She is in the incredibly unique position of having had both of my sons as students. And she said what I say on a near-daily basis, "I can't believe Nathan and Benjamin are siblings, they are so different!"
