Bad Smile Day
Today we got back the school pictures for both boys. Both boys smiled the same way in each photo, a little smile we've nicknamed the "Froggy Smile". It's where they put their top and bottom front teeth together and then pull the sides of their mouths out straight to the side. Kinda like a frog. It's something we've battled both of them NOT to do because it's so unnatural looking. Friday is the photo makeup and retake day, and I think I will have both of them retake their photos. It isn't that I'm not a fan of imperfect pictures- with my kids it's generally the one taken right before or after the money shot that I fall in love with three years after the fact - it's just that school pictures are FOREVER and with the price they charge, you'd think I can have just a nice normal smile if I want. Am I wrong? I can't find a good example of a froggy smile, so you'll just have to use your imaginations!
